I started Dragonfly Tabletop to build the kind of online board game store I would want to shop at.

I picked up the hobby after spending 30 years trying to find the perfect video game — because when I finally found it, it was actually a board game. Then I discovered the beauty, warmth and thoughtfulness of board gamers and the board game community, and I was hooked.

My tastes tend toward heavier strategy games, economic games, 18xx and games built around interesting systems. I’m particularly drawn to designs that are elegant, interactive and worth exploring over multiple plays.

I stock games I want to play; games I want in my collection.
